i just had a L5 S1 spinal fusion and just recently my hip and leg started hurting VERY bad when i would try and stand up in the mornings after sleeping, my doctor said it was a bursitis ( i have NO clue how to spell it) I'm calling tomorrow to schedule an appointment to get a shot for it its very annoying and hurts like hell!
also your sciatica nerve might be pinched as well meaning you may have a herniated disc in your lumbar spinal area
