Separate them . If they are same sex, they are fighting, one wants to be dominant. They have inserts for the cages to separate new babies and moms from the father, as he will sometimes savage the babies. After all, rats will be rats.

My 5 month old male rats occasionally fight and blood has been drawn on one of the rats not badly just a bit is this normal how can I stop and will it get any worse as the rats get older?

I have mice and they live very happily together but they are female. With Male mice they will fight and sometimes even to death! This is not any different with male rats and it is normal for them to fight for territorial reasons. I'm not sure if their fighting will get worse as they get older or if they will just get used to each other, if not the best way to resolve the problem is to put your rats in separate cages.
