The Sims life stories is not compatible on an apple personal computer because the disc is for a windows personal computer. I have tried it on my apple computer and it didn't come up in finder or DVD player so you have to get a Sims game which is compatible on an apple.Ask a techie for more info.

If sims 2 pets is the latest game you installed in your computer then to make sims 2 work you have to put in the sims 2 pets CD. I had the same problem.. I kept trying to run sims with nightlife but the latest game I had installed was apartment life... ~Always put in the disc of the latest game you installed~

You can download it on your home screen but you have to download the sims 3 game first on your computer before you download the game or else it wont work. But you also have to run a system on your comuter called Origin. (Or any other computer downloading system.) which will also allow you to run the sims 3. Then you can download the sims 3. (Just informing you) The download on the sims 3 might take awhile. ( 3 hours.) (This is only if you are ok with having to pay for the download or if you have the disc to the sims 3. you must also have the disc for the game you want to play.)
