it sud be many things, it could be something as simple as dead battery.
or
maybe the valves are bent... so you might not be getting pressure to start.. you might want to do a compression test.
Yes, just about any sensor on the engine could cause a no start.Yes, just about any sensor on the engine could cause a no start.
they make a chirp just like a bird would do
It is toward the middle of the engine, just off to the right. I know I just checked mine!
from what i have read stratus has many fuel pump failures. i just had mine replaced (with the sending unit). to check i sprayed a small amount of starting fluid in the air intake and the engine fired.
No, it is an interference engine. I know this because I just pulled the heads on one that broke the timing belt and the valves are bent and/or broken.
yes but just to check if start or not and also you must install crank pully good luck :)
Check for spark at the plugs. Check for fuel to the engine.
just a guess, your fuel filter maybe stopped up?
yes absolutely, just happend to me on a rebuilt engine, with less than 2hrs runnjing time.
could possably have slipped a yooth on the timing check your timing belt
First, which engine are you talking about? Better yet, I'll just say yes. Fit and finish, A Dodge Stratus is exactly like a Mitsubishi Eclipse all the way down to the lug nuts. The only difference is badging and exterior.
The crankshaft position sensor is located on the rear of the engine, on the driver's side just below the distributor.
