It really does depend how much it is eating, if it's eating 10-20 of it's babies don't worry it's what all Triop parents do. If Triops try to eat the Queen then take them out and put them in another container becouse without the Queen it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep them going they will all die, it's quite rare if they do that though since the Queen is the toughest and the biggest.
Hope this helped :D - Jadyn!
no, the gold fish will eat it and its eggs
Triops are definetly water pets.If you take them out they will die.
I think that if u put a triop in a tank with something biggerand is also a predator it might eat the triops .This might also happen with fish that bigger that it.

Flush it down the toilet, or else let any other triops eat it because they can be cannibalistic.
... im sorry to say, but your triop may be dead. or it could just be resting. or maybe its just a lazy triop :P or the conditions could be wrong. there are so many options, i dunno...

triops nearly always tend to lay eggs in sand, mostly because they like digging in it. very little do they lay eggs in gravel.
The lifespan of a triop can range greatly. Most triops live to about 2 months before they die. There have been ones that have made it to 4-5 months, so it really just depends. Generally you can aspect this: the better you take care of your triops, the longer they will live.
you can buy triop eggs on the internet or in toy shops in starter packs shops like toyr r us, argos internet sites like the netfysh.com or amazon
i bread tripos and handle them everyday, they are completely harmless to humans but if u wanna see one be dangerous put a bug on the water and the triop will rip it to pieces lol
A sandy bottom shouldn't bother triops. In fact triops like sand in the bottom of the tank because they can lay their eggs in the sand and cover them up. This prevents other triops from eating the eggs, and lets you hatch another batch later. Just make sure you wash the sand first, and don't use ocean sand because it contains salt that could mess up the pH for your triops.
