It varies; there are many different types of counters used in the game, and most don't have visual representations. Spell counters look like the artwork on Pitch-Black Power Stone; A counters look like the artwork on Corruption Cell "A"; and that's about all of the counters that have definite appearances.
you could look on google images. simply type Tyler the Great Warrior in the search box, and if that doesn't work, try Tyler the Great Warrior Yugioh, or Yugioh Tyler the Great Warrior etc.

Pokemon is more like catching and yugioh is just having a deck of cards like poker and battle with them. i love both Pokemon and yugioh but i think yugioh is less childish
