LUTTENTON, BERYL- Of Concord passed away September 28, 2009 at his home, age 93. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret of 71 years; daughter, Nancy L. (Roger) Clouse; son, Charles R. (Mary) Luttenton; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was the oldest of eight children, four of whom are still living. Each year for the past 50 years, Beryl has purchased a prize-winning hog from a member of the 4-H Club at the Jackson County Fair. He was a member of the Concord School Board for 17 years, a Charter Member of the Big 9 Sportmen's Club, Farm Bureau for 50 years, and the Presbyterian Church. He dearly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His hobbies included golfing, hunting, and enjoying Baseball; but his passion was farming.The family will greet friends at the Lauer Family Funeral Home in Concord Thursday, October 1 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lynn McQuown officiating.
