The right of citizens of the united states shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of race color or previous condition of servitude.

The congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
An amendment refers to the change or addition to a law or bill. This can include correcting legislation that may effect legal proceedings and other legal services. An amendment is administered in government to improve legal processes and laws governing people and businesses.

Many amendments have been added but I am more curiois about the amendments since 1999!
The Eleventh and Twelfth Amendments were planned to remedy defects in the original Constitution. They are sometimes referred to as the perfecting amendments.
