Flammable Safety Cabinets for the Home?

If you are a homeowner, you should consider purchasing a flammable safety cabinet for your home. It is probably best to keep the cabinet in your garage or shed. The cabinet should contain all of the chemicals and home improvement supplies that you use to repair or spruce up your home, like paint, paint thinner and turpentine. A flammable cabinet will protect your property in the event that these chemicals spark and catch fire. The fire safety cabinet will contain the fire and keep it from spreading throughout your home, garage or shed.

How do you repair holes in hollow kitchen cabinet doors?

You will need -- 4 inch scraper-- small can of Auto Body Filler-- sanding block or electric orbital sander-- 80 grit sandpaper for the sander or sandblock-- 1 tube of liquid nailsLiquid Nails-- caulking gun I have never known cabinet doors to be hollow but if there is a hole in the cabinet door-- you will need to cut a piece of luan wood to size up with the inside of the cabinet door being sure to leave a notch for the magnet anchor. Glue this piece of wood to the inside of the cabinet door. First with a caulking gun apply a bead of Liquid Nails around the diameter of the hole about 1 inch outward and then apply a waving bead to the back of the cabinet door and set the wood piece in place and wait for it to dry for about 24 hours to be safe now you can use bondo Auto Body Filler to fill the hole from the outside of the cabinet and just sand it down flush to the wood surface and sand over when done. Note: This method is not good if you are staining wood the repair will be noticable

Where do they sell garage cabinets?

I suggest a local home repair shop or a larger chain store like Lowes or Home Depot. This way you will be able to see in person the cabinet size, shape, etc. Otherwise you can certainly find something online.

How do you get a metal filing cabinet unstuck?

If the push-lock is broken, you may have to gently pry the drawer up or down to release it. If the problem is folders stuck in the closure, try carefully rocking the cabinet to the rear to dislodge them (it may be heavy). If the slides are involved, you can try pulling slightly to one side as it opens. to shift the weight off the damaged slide. A completely jammed drawer may require competent mechanical repair.
