What LO stand for on a police scanner?

LO on a police scanner stands for Lock Out. The lock out button has the scanner skip those frequencies that are tagged to be locked out. For scanners with this ability frequencies (most) that are either pre-programmed or frequencies that have been inputted manually can be locked out. These locked out frequencies can later be reversed so they are no longer locked out from the scanning sequence.

How do you program regency scanner model r1077?

One should program a Regency Scanner with the model number r1077 by first turning the device's power on. Then press the manual button until the channel wanted is shown. Once the channel number is shown hit enter, which will make the frequency channel that number. Then one can go to the next channel number and hit hold, or delay, to hold the number for dispatch. In order to lock certain channels one should hit the lock button when the channel number comes up instead of enter, and this will keep that particular channel locked.

Do you place your picture on scanner to scan?

It really all depends on what kind of scanner you have. The Glass Versions. Put the picture on the glass under the lid of the scanner - make sure that the corner is up to where the arrows indicate that they should be. Close the lid slowly so that you don't make the paper fly and you set up the options in the panel - choose whether you want a color scan or black or white, and what kind of paper you are using. There should be a finish/start button on the printer somewhere that you press after you finish. The Suck-Into-Machine-and-Spits-Out-Paper Version. Set your picture in the tray and resize the tray so that the picture will fit snugly into the scanning portion. It's pretty much the same as above - you set up the printer/scanner so that it's scanning the picture and make sure you choose whether you want it photocopied or scanned into your computer. Then you make the choice of black and white or color scan and you hit the finish or start button, depending on your scanner.
