The Center of Creative Arts is a multidisciplinary and multicultural arts institution that focuses on improving the quality of life and community building through the arts.

COCA offers over 500 art educational classes in dance, music, drama, visual and culinary arts that are available for all age groups. They are taught by over 150 professionaly trained artist-instructors. Sessions start year-round in spring, summer, fall and winter. They also hold art camps during the summer.

Additionally they host internationally acclaimed music, theater and dance performances at their Family Theater to over 12,000 children, teen and adults per year. Exhibits of contemporary art are hosted in the Millstone Gallery.

They also run outreach Urban Arts programs providing multiple programs: after-school arts classes, pre-professional dance program, summer art camps, art and technology program, a scholarship fund and a SchoolTime arts residency program.

Students at COCA have gone on to post-secondary programs at respected programs at The Juiliard School, State University of New York at Purchase, Tisch School for the Arts and North Carolina School of the Arts.
