I have been banking with Citizens Bank for approximately one year and have, thus far, had few issues to genuinely complain about. Both my personal checking account and my business account are now currently with them, and I haven't experienced any glaring problems with the bank. I particularly have enjoyed their services with regards to my business account, and my employees who have dealt with them have raved about the quality of customer care and attention they receive. Overall, my experiences with them have been fairly good, and I would recommend them.That being said, there is great variation in the quality of their tellers and managers. Sometimes I go to the bank and have complicated matters handled by certain employees very swiftly. On other occasions I've been serviced by less competent employees, and have had to deal with long delays resolving pretty simple issues. In general, their staff is very helpful, but their bad staff members are pretty bad. In addition, I constantly see new faces at the branch, so it seems like they have had problems retaining employees. This may explain the incompetence of some of the people I've had to deal with there.Anyways, all in all, I have had mainly good experiences with this bank. Even when they are having trouble meeting my needs, they maintain a calm and polite demeanor. They are very professional and most often helpful. Moreover, there is a certain level of accessibility that I feel here that I have not felt at other banks. I always feel welcome Citizens Bank, and the managers genuinely seem to appreciate their customers. When I have complained about issues, they have taken the time to help me, even when they seem busy. Other banks I have dealt with only give their high roller customers great treatment. This bank makes you feel like a high roller, even if you only have small accounts. Overall, if you are a small business owner, I strongly recommend setting up your account with this bank. As for your personal account, I don't think you would be much better off choosing any other bank.
