The first item needed is a keg. Of course, it is possible to simply steal one, but that might not make the folks at the local bar happy. Probably, it's better to ask if they have an old or damaged keg they will sell cheap.
These guys make it look simple to change that old keg into really great bar furniture. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and the job really isn't difficult for anyone with the right power tools and some basic skills.
A little scrap wood, some foam for padding, a little marine vinyl, a 2" pipe, a floor flange, brackets, a few bolts, and some concrete are all that is needed to do the job. Of course, a power saw and drill are necessary to do the cutting and drilling.
Get a few guys together and convert those old kegs into the best bar stools everat least from a guy's perspective. The wife may have different ideas, but for the man cave these are ideal. Oh, and another keg with actual beer would be nice, once the job is completed.
One other tipnever drink and drive a power saw or drill, or one of those awesome staplers. Also, designate a driver for after the keg party. It's the right thing to do.
