Few licensed psychologists and therapists will recommend simply continuing to avoid what scares you. One of the easiest ways to overcome fear is to simply push yourself to do what scares you. Whether that's heights, swimming or a certain type of animal, facing your fear is the first step to conquering it.

We should deal with fear with the intellect. We should discriminate between what is right and wrong. This will help us to overcome fear because most of our fears are imaginary, they are not real. And also, we become stronger when we overcome our fear. It is therefore required that we live intellectually and not emotionally.
