When you are deciding between a generic and brand name universal remote, make sure you keep things in perspective. After all, it is very difficult to gauge the responsiveness or "quality" of a remote and it is often impossible to tell the difference between generic and brand name remotes. Due to this, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to spend the extra money on a bran name universal remote for the same quality as generics offer.
