Offset the costs of new clothes and shoes for the kids to wear to church on Easter Sunday, by spending less on Easter baskets. Get the kids involved in making baskets that include traditional candies and toys like cuddly, stuffed rabbits and chicks.
Repurpose
Get creative and show the kids how last summer’s beach pail or a small wagon can be used as an Easter “basket” or float. Clean and decorate the item in an Easter-theme. Add new stuffed animals, wrapped candies, plastic colored eggs, and coloring books.
Build a Basket
Buy small wicker baskets, pails, or colored gift bags to use as baskets. Fill them with cellophane grass, dyed eggs, chocolate bunnies, Christian-themed coloring books, and miniature stuffed animals. Wrap colored crepe paper around plastic or metal handles.
Piñata
Hang an Easter piñata. Give kids colored gift bags to put their goodies in when the piñata breaks. Play games to award children other prizes life stuffed animals to fill their baskets with.
Eggstrordinary Scavenger Hunt
Give each child a decorative bag and have them hunt for bundles of Easter goodies that include stuffed animals, eggs and candy. Or, hide plastic eggs with gift item tags inside of them, and then have the kids find the eggs and return them to you to claim the prize listed on the tag; for additional suspense fill some “rotten” eggs with only jelly beans and no gift tag.

The bringer of bounteous baskets containing goodies and eggs is the Easter Bunny. This mythical creature is said to hop around delivering colorful eggs, candies, and treats to children during the Easter holiday.
That sounds a lot like the Easter Bunny.
Candy and goodies. Most of the really fun Easter egg hunts have a few money eggs and these usually contain between one to twenty dollars. As long as the kiddies like it they can contain just about anything.
Rice and beans, Salad, Meat (Turkey, Ham, hen, etc) Potatoe salad (with beets) Maccaroni & cheese (southern style) sauces, Cakes and a slew of other goodies. Easter Sunday Meal is a must not miss meal in a Haitian household.
People have their favorites. Mine is a wicker basket filled with a couple of boiled and colored Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies, lots of jelly beans, the candy eggs with the white inside and other goodies. Oh, and the basket needs to have "grass" in it before the candy is placed inside.
I know the french do celebrate this, Heres a paragraph I dug up on it enjoy If you will be in Paris this Easter, there are a few things to remember. First of all, as it is a holiday many shops and restaurants will be closed for the day. Some will remain closed the following day as well (Easter Monday). Be sure to call before arriving at a restaurant, as you don't want to be standing outside a locked door. The windows of the Parisian patisseries and chocolatiers are like works of art at Easter. The beautiful cellophane wrapped eggs, the white, milk and dark chocolate chicks. The Easter bells. Easter bells? Yes, Easter bells. You see, in France, there is no Easter bunny. Instead, they have the "Cloches de Pâques" or Easter bells. These are the bells that fly across France, dropping chocolates and treats in the grass, under trees and in the bushes. When the children hear the church bells on Easter morning, that is their signal that the Easter bells have passed and they run out looking for their Easter goodies. French church bells remain silent from the Thursday before Easter until Easter morning. The French Easter tradition is that the church bells fly to the Vatican in Rome, returning to France in time for the Easter celebration, depositing chocolates and eggs all over the gardens of French children. That's to sad they don't have Easter bunnys though : )
Does the Easter bunny come to your house? Has he left you a basket filled with goodies on Easter morning? Well, there you go then. Yes they both are real! If you DON'T believe in the Easter bunny he is real but you can't see him or hear him. To see the Easter bunny just BELIEVE. AND HOW SURE ARE U TO KNOW THAT EASTER BUNNIES ARE REAL
