I always feel like their are way to many choices when it comes to food in the Bronx. There is so many different delicious foods to choose from. I am a sucker for a great Indian Food restaurant though. And one of my favorite neighborhood joints to frequent is Feroza's. Feroza's serves some of the best Indian food in the neighborhood. It has been around for over 20 years for a reason. The best way to eat at Feroza's is to call your food order in ahead of time. The lines are always long and they are always so busy!The inside is nothing to really speak of. It looks a little run down inside. I kind of has a disco feel to it, like you are stepping back into the 70's. Despite the old decor, it has a friendly and comfortable vibe. The service is pretty fast if you order ahead. I am impressed at how quickly they serve so many people. Their cooks are sure busy!Their roti is the best anywhere, hands down. I always seem to order it when I go to Feroza's. If you have never tried roti, it is an Indian bread that goes great with any dish that you choose.The portions of food are very generous. I am always full after I finish my food. I love a place that gives you enough food to fill you up. I really like their curry dishes. They have the perfect mix of flavor and spice.I also really like how they prepare their chicken roti. They serve it with the chicken still on the bone. For some reason, cooking it with the chicken on the bone just seems to add a little bit of extra flavor.Even though Feroza's is really busy, it really is the best place in the Bronx to get great roti! The lines may be out the door, but it is worth the wait to eat some of the best Indian food around!
