I recently moved to Rochester, NY. One of the challenges that I faced when I moved up here was finding the right childcare center. I have two sons who are two years-old and six years-old. My husband and I both work full-time, so we are gone for several hours during the week. I began to do some research, and I found Generations Child Care.I would definitely recommend this day care to busy parents who are in need of child care. One of the reasons I would recommend this child care center is because the teachers are highly-qualified. They have undergone extensive background training. They are also required to attend conferences and professional workshops in order to maintain their skills. Furthermore, they are required to maintain a certification in CPR and first aid.I love the fact that the staff members at Generations Child Care do a lot more for the children than just watch them. Both of my children have learned so much while they were at this child care center. Generations Child Care Center has age-appropriate activities for children. These activities help build children's social, motor, language and cognitive skills. My six year-old goes to school during the day, and after school, he stays at the child care center until after my husband or I get off work. Sometimes, I feel like he is learning more at the child care center than he is learning at school.Children regularly get to go on field trips. They get to visit libraries, musicals events and theaters. Visiting places allows children to expand on the things that they learn while they are in the classroom.I also like the fact that the health and safety of the children is a top priority of the staff members, The staff members do their best in order to make sure that the environment remains safe at all times. Children are also fed nutritious meals at this child care center.As parents, we often feel guilty about leaving our children in someone else's care. I felt guilty about leaving my children, but it became easier for me because I knew that I was leaving them in good hands. My children not only get constant supervision, but they also get to interact with other children in a positive environment.
