Graco's Sweetpeace Soothing Center is a toy for mothers and fathers as much as it is for babies. This innovative baby product has a sound speaker so baby can enjoy music of the parents choice as it is rocked and comforted by several different motions that mimic the motion that is instinctively used by mothers, fathers and infant care providers alike to sooth a fretful baby. The movements are a back and forth motion with 6 different settings for speed. The seat can be repositioned at a 90 degree angle to change the position of the car seat and the direction of the movement. The Graco Sweetpeace Soothing Center comes with a built in MP3 player as well. Most Graco car seats will also fit into the Sweetpeace Soothing Center. The car seat that comes with the system also can act as a free standing rocker. It comes with a pre-cut swaddling cloth that will fit in the seat. Newborn babies are taught to self-sooth with the aid of swaddling. The Graco Sweetpeace Soothing Center also comes with a 2 speed vibrating system and a canopy cover to shade the baby. The baby will enjoy having a soft natural light as it is soothed to sleep with the use of the canopy shade cover.
