4. Are his fees reasonable? You do not want to go to a veterinarian who is too expensive for you to afford. But on the flip side, if his fees are dirt cheap, that may be a red flag as well. His fees should be within a reasonable range.
5. Are the waiting room and examination rooms clean and sanitary? When life and death situations can occur, it is imperative to have a sterile environment. That is what you and your pet deserve.
6. Does the staff treat you and your pet with respect and take the time to answer questions that you may have? You want to know that the office staff is just as courteous as the doctor and will discuss things with you when the doctor is not available to do so.
