Bed & Breakfasts tend to be very small, which will allow you to get to know the other people that are staying there at the same time as you. Common areas are generally shared, such as reading rooms and kitchens. This can be a wonderful way to meet new people. Be sure to be respectful to the fact that you are not the only one staying at the Bed & Breakfast, and try not to make a lot of noise after hours.

It wouldn’t be a B&B without breakfasts, as most Bed & Breakfasts will offer you a home-cooked meal each morning of your stay, generally prepared either by the host or a chef. Generally, it is also nice to tip your host if they are going to such lengths to make you comfortable, although this is not always necessary.
