If you have kids, or watch kids, you’re sure to take a visit to the park every once in a while. When the kids are taking a break from burning off some energy, a great activity, primarily for girls, is making daisy bracelets. Here’s how to make daisy bracelets;

Step One:

Pick plenty of daisies. Make sure that the daisies have stems that are about an inch long, as this will make it easier. Get a good sized pile, just in case you have any mess ups. It’s important to choose daisies that have sturdy stems, so they don’t break while you are making the bracelet.

Step Two:

After picking the daisies, take your first daisy and carefully poke a small hole in the stem, about half way down the stem. A needle is useful, but if you don’t have one, just carefully tear a small slit in the stem with your finger nails. Make the hole just large enough for a second daisy stem to thread through. Take your second daisy and carefully thread the stem through the small hole in the stem of the first daisy. Make another hole in the stem of the second daisy and repeat with the desired amount of daisies.

Step Three:

Once you’ve made the bracelet as large as it needs to be, make a second hole in your original daisy’s stem closer to the flower. Thread the stem of your final flower through this whole to complete the bracelet. Brining a few beads along with you can help spice up this cute little temporary bracelet. Just thread the beads onto the daisy stems before you thread the next daisy through.

This cute little craft will keep younger children entertained for quite a while, and it’s so simple that children should have no trouble completing bracelets on their own with a little help. This same technique can be used to make daisy head bands as well. Just create a larger chain of daisies so that the finished chain can rest comfortable on the child’s head.
