Yoga has long been hailed as advantageous workout, exercising the mind, body, and spirit. There are quite a few different styles of yoga available to accommodate most individuals. One of the most intense forms of yoga is Bikram yoga.
Bikram Yoga's CharacteristicsBikram yoga consists of a very specific series of 26 poses performed over a 90 minute period. Since these poses are carried out in a room which is 105 degrees, it is considered a hot form of yoga. The poses featured are said to enhance the function of both the body and mind.
Health BenefitsSince the poses in Bikram yoga stretches and strengthens every muscle group in the body, it is considered an excellent overall physical workout. The routine also burns a large amount of calories, making it beneficial as a weight loss workout. As with all forms of yoga, it also has an emphasis on breath control and meditation, making it useful as a way to reduce stress and increase the mind's balance.
While Bikram yoga is possible to conduct on one's own, it is also available in a structured class setting. These settings are beneficial in order to correctly learn the poses to fully reap the rewards of adding Bikram yoga to any exercise routine.
It all depends on where you work. Gyms are probably one of the lower paid positions. Some will pay per class. Other places will give you a percentage of the number of people who attend the Yoga class.. Some places pay 50% of what it comes in. The average fee is 12 -15 dollars for a Yoga class. So I guess you could get half of that.
