Step 1 – Who is using it?
The first thing that you will need to keep in mind is who is going to be using the clock. For instance, if the person you are getting it for is younger and just learning how to use a clock, get one that is easy to read. If it is someone that has poor vision then you should consider a clock that is larger.
Step 2 – Analog VS Digital
Do you want to have a clock that has minute and hour hands or a clock that simply displays the numbers? It is important that you know this going in as it will make your decision much easier when it comes time to purchase the clock.
Step 3 – Location
You will need to think about the location that this clock is going to be. If you are planning on having your clock in a bedroom then you may want to make sure that it is going to be easily seen at night should wake up and need to know the time. If you wish to have your clock in an area where many people will see it, then look for a clock that compliments your décor.
Step 4 – Alarm
There are several different types of clocks for you to choose from. One of the most popular types is alarm clocks. Should you decide that you need an alarm clock, then there are some things that you should consider. For example, if you are particularly heavy sleeper then you will need to have a clock with an alarm that is loud.
