This course will cover major decision making in areas of managerial finance and financial history. It will serve as a complement and supplement to other finance courses. There are some areas of financial management that are not included in finance 100 but are covered in other courses. Some of them are, financial planning, mergers, acquisitions, and leasing. Some of these courses are more detailed in other finance classes.
Funding Investments
This course covers bank and loan covenants, functions of bond rating agencies, securitization, commercial paper, and exchange offers to name a few. You will also cover bankruptcy issues and pricing credit risks.
Behavioral Finance
This course uses psychology to expand on other theories of financial markets. You will learn the preferences of trading decisions, and corporate decision making. You will then cover both views of the content of dividend and investment.
Financial Institutions
This course consists of an extensive study of the foundation of modern financial economics. You will learn the central themes of finance including arbitrage pricing theory, incomplete markets, and application of such themes. You will acquire knowledge of theoretical results and portfolio decisions.
