Lastly, remember that there are two types of window treatments: light filtering and room darkening. Light filtering window treatments allow sunlight to pass through and are appropriate for living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms. Room darkening blinds provide maximum privacy and darken the room when closed. These types of window treatments are perfect for bedrooms and bathrooms.
