Cream shortening, sugar. Add eggs, milk, vanilla, then remaining dry ingredients. Add nuts, chocolate bits and raisins. Form small balls. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375~F for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 10 dozen, more or less, depending on the size.
