wow, that sounds TERRBLE. some advice: teachers are SUCKERS for small talk. before class just engage in a convo with him... ask him about his weekend or whatevs and pretend to be interested. also, sit in the front of the classroom, don't talk to yo friends, and come prepared. pay attention and participate and all that stuff and he'll gradually come around. trust me my math teacher hated me last year and i seriously thought she was gonna fail me so i acted all cool and stuff to impress her and then it was fine.More advice. Don't pretend to be interested. Actually be interested. Most people, teachers in particular, are very adept at picking out a BS artist, and you don't want to be known as one. Better yet - talk privately with your teacher - ask why he or she is annoyed with you - apologize for what you did - ask what you can do to be less of a concern to the teacher - listen to the answer - implement it. Last - think carefully now - if there is really a reason for therapy - consider it - regardless of how irritated you might be at your teacher, he or she is really simply concerned about your future - and you might, just might, really need therapy - it happens - its normal to occasionally need special help.
