Once you retire it becomes more difficult to budget the money you have. Social security is not nearly as much as what you made when you were working, so you have to stretch the money you have farther. It is possible to live in retirement if you change some spending habits and make a budget plan. Try to avoid eating out and shopping at high priced stores. Find a pharmacy that has medication plans that you can afford such as the four dollar plans some stores offer.
