Choosing a worthwhile career with a history degree can be difficult. The only option a student seems to have is becoming a teacher. One other alternative choice is to become a lawyer and attend law school. A history degree is very valuable for law school.
Well, the most obvious and best thing to do would be to find a career in which you have your degree in.
If mr. How has a degree in robot science, then yes... He most likely can make a robot
Before you pursue any degree, think about what you might do with it when you graduate. There are just as many history major working at Starbuck's as they are in law school. There is no guarantee that a degree in history is going to land you in a certain income bracket. Decide what you want to do first, then tailor your elective courses to support your career goals. It is not clear what you consider "good money," so plan ahead to make sure you can attain your goals.
There is no degree in "military history" per se. A student would take history as the major in a BA degree and then focus on military history. Because of the requirements of any baccalaureate degree, it is likely that the focus on military history, particularly during a specific time in history or a specific part of the world or a country would be the undertaking of a graduate student or PhD candidate.
I would get a teaching cred. with that history degree. What else are you going to do with a degree in history? Might consider law as well or political science with your history, but remember the reason you go to college is so when you finish you can find a good job.

Yes. You can get a Bachelors degree in art history online (as part of a degree completion program) at Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. Masters degree online programs in Art History for U.S. students are, at the present ( July 2011), virtually impossible to find.
Kareem Abdul Jabbar graduated from UCLA with a degree in history.
An undergrad degree in history doesn't open a lot of doors, so you might plan on getting a graduate degree. Grads with a BA in history go on to law school, museum/archive work, libraries, historical organization/societies, etc. For the most part, you would narrow your focus in grad school and become somewhat of an expert in a particular area of history. To run with the big dogs, you'll need a PhD. Before you decide on any degree, map out your career goals.
1. It is currently 26 degrees outside. 2. Please use your protractor and make a 90 degree angle. 3. I would never think he would act to such a degree in front of people. 4. My bachelor's degree is a BA in History.
A degree in History is only good if you are planning to teach on a university, high school, or junior high school level. Become familiar with which degree program you will be working toward. Whether it is a Bachelor's, Master's, or a PhD, plan ahead and not as you go, and it will make the educational path toward your desired goal less difficult.
