Cooking or baby oil can be used, and if 220 grit paper isn't available, an emery cloth may be used. Important note: neveruse steel wool. Tiny particles break off in the stainless steel; the sink will actually appear as though it is rusting.

- Maintain the grain with appropriate cleaning materials.
- Don't let bad elements attack the stainless steel.
