Nurse educators can also be part of a research group. They can also work on grant writing for nonprofit health education. A new trend in the field of nurse educators is for a medical device company to hire them to go to the hospitals and teach other nurses how to use their equipment. This is ideal for someone who wants to travel.

The salary for nurse educators ranges from $50,000-$80,000. Those with doctorate degrees typically earn more than those with just a master’s degree.
