The rear window wiper fluid comes from the windshield wiper fluid tank in the engine compartment on a 2001 Ford Escape
If the rear window is not fully closed the rear wiper will not operate.

# Raise the rear wiper arm finish cap to expose the wiper arm nut. # Remove the rear wiper arm nut (1). # Lift the rear wiper arm assembly (2) away from the rear window and remove the wiper arm from the pivot shaft. The cap tilts up toward the arm
The rear window wiper arm will have a retaining clip at the bottom of the wiper arm. Hold the retaining clip in with two fingers and pull outward on the rear wiper arm.
The rear window wiper fuse can be found in the fuse box. The fuse box is in the engine compartment. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
To remove the rear wiper arm on a 2002 Ford Escape, first, lift the wiper arm away from the rear window. Then, locate the small retaining nut at the base of the wiper arm and use a socket wrench to loosen and remove it. Once the nut is removed, gently wiggle and pull the wiper arm off the mounting post. Be careful not to damage the post or the rear window during this process.
To replace the rear wiper blade on a Lexus RX 350, first lift the wiper arm away from the rear window. Press the release tab on the old blade and slide it off the wiper arm. Align the new blade with the arm and push it into place until you hear a click. Finally, lower the wiper arm back onto the window.
