If you are in one of these organizations, an employer may consider it a strength as it will show that you have interest in your industry and like to take personal time to advance in your career. If you hold any positions within the organization, be sure to include those as well.
Another thing to include on your resume would be your educational history. While you may not need a degree to be good at sales, having a degree will give you an advantage over the competition. If you are applying for a job in a technical or medical sales job, then employers will probably like to see that you have the educational background to discuss the products or services that you are selling intelligently.
