When the amniotic sac ruptures the amniotic fluid begins to trickle out of the uterus and vagina. For some women, it can actually gush out in a stream.
The rupturing of the amniotic sac, which surrounds and protects the baby, is commonly referred to as the "water breaking."
The combination of regular contractions and cervical change indicates the first phase of labor is starting.

I would think that "water breaking" would fall into that category. Often in medicine it is referred to as 'Rupture of membranes' or ROM. If it is done by the doctor or midwife rather than Spontaneously (SROM), it is called artificial rupture of membranes or AROM.
It would be possible for a human body to explode if the decompression were rapid and large enough. However, under normal circumstances, vacuum would cause explosive outgassing from the lungs and capillary rupturing in the mucus membranes.
Precautions for preventing fetal exposure to HIV-infected maternal blood include avoiding: amniocentesis, fetal scalp blood sampling, premature rupturing of the fetal membranes.
Cytorrhexis refers to the destruction or rupturing of cell membranes, leading to cell death. This process can occur due to various factors such as physical trauma, exposure to toxins, or during programmed cell death (apoptosis).
The two major categories of body membranes are epithelial membranes and connective tissue membranes. Epithelial membranes include mucous membranes, serous membranes, and cutaneous membranes (skin). Connective tissue membranes include synovial membranes that line joint cavities.
There are four different membranes in the body that are related to tissue; cutaneous membranes, mucosal membranes, synovial membranes, and serous membranes.
Membranes surround cells. There are no cells found in membranes. Membranes are composed mostly of lipids.
Mucous membranes.
There are two membranes. Those are outer and inner membranes.
