Sausage &Amp; Macaroni Casserole

Ingredients

• 1 lb Sausage meat
• 1 Onion; chopped
• 1/4 ts Pepper
• 1 Garlic clove; chopped
• 3 c Macaroni; cooked
• 1 c Mushrooms; drained
• 1 c Cottage cheese
• 1/4 ts Oregano
• 1/4 c Spaghetti sauce
• 1/4 ts Basil
• 1/4 ts Garlic powder
• 1/4 ts Dry mustard

Breadcrumbs (opt) Grated cheese Preheat oven to 350F. Saute sausage meat till light brown. Drain fat, separate meat with fork, set aside. Saute onion, garlic & mushrooms. Add sausage meat, spices. Stir in sauce. Add macaroni & stir. Arrange alternate layers of macaroni-meat mixture and cottage cheese; ending with meat. Top with bread crumbs & cheese if desired. Bake at 350F for 25-30 min.
