The great part about Scooby Doo costumes is that you can do any set of the characters and still be recognizable. Most people know the looks of all of the gang, even though Shaggy and Scooby are the clear stars of the group. So even if you do just a pairing of Fred and Daphne, or Velma and Shaggy, any combination of two is going to make people ask where Scooby is! The one problem with Scooby Doo costumes is that not many people want to wear a dog suit the entire holiday, but if that's the case, then you can just get a toy dog to bring around with you.

If you do happen to have someone who actually is going to wear the Scooby Doo costume, then you can have a blast getting him Scooby Snacks whenever he does something right, and talking with Scooby's traditionally silly accent can be hilarious. For an extra fun game, why not see if somebody else at the party that's wearing a scary mask will let you unmask them, and blame them for some fictional mystery!
