There are a few different styles of portable charcoal grills available. Not all models are appropriate for all types of grilling. Some portable grills are just containers for charcoal with a grill grate on top. These grills are best for fast cooking. For more serious portable grilling it is important to look for a portable charcoal grill that has a lid or cover. This will allow food to be cooked slowly and can make it easier to grill dense vegetables and delicate foods like fish.
A good barbecue grill that uses charcoal will have a tight-fitting lid that can be sealed to prevent air from entering into the well of the grill. This helps to control the temperature inside of the grill and also helps to save money. Charcoal will stop burning when oxygen is not present because of a tight lid. This means that large amounts of charcoal can be saved for the next grilling event. Partially used charcoal can have the white ash removed from the surface and can then be used just like new charcoal.
keep the lid off they will cook faster mate
The Atlanta Stove Works, Inc. Model 524A Cue.Wagon is a sturdy charcoal grill with cast iron cooking grates. The grates could be adjusted to two heights and the lid of the grill contained a small thermometer to read the cooking temperature. This charcoal grill had two wheels on the back scissor-type legs so that it could be easily moved from one location to another. A small wood board for temporary placement of foods to be grilled was attached to the front of the grill. Air circulation for this grill was provided by two sliding vents located on the base of the grill and two similar vents located on the hinged lid. The Atlanta Stove Works, Inc. is no longer in business. Parts may be able to be fabricated from existing grills in circulation.
The Weber kettle grill is the best brand. Direct or indirect heat could be applied in conjunction with the dome lid (resulting in evenly spread out heat for grilling).

Ideally you need a grill with a lid. Put the coals in one half of the grill pan and the food on the rack over the empty half. Instead put a pan of water on the rack above the coals. The lid holds the heat, smoke and steam in, which cooks the meat - - this method is basically smoking. It should still be possible without the lid. Put the meat in the middle of the grill rack and the coals on either side, but not underneath - the basic idea is that you don't put the food over the coals - that would be direct heat i.e. grilling. Hope this makes sense.
It is the grill we use in the uk. The same as what you use
A bahut is a portable coffer or chest with a rounded lid covered in leather.
The gas burns and the heat rises, swirls around, and is then forced down by cooling and the arrival of newer heated air. The cooler air exits through the vents and around the edges of the lid.
Sure, just dedicate part of your grill to fish, and part to beef, and don't leave the lid down too long or the flavors will mingle.
why would you cook pizza in the grill? if your going to do that then you should cook it by the instructions, close the lid and check it often. doing it that way will probably burn the bottom though.
It doesn't have to be warm, although warm weather is more comfortable for grilling. You can grill in the winter, in the snow, and even in the rain. Just dress suitably and shield the grill from precipitation as much as possible, such as using the lid, or grilling beneath large trees.
