There are a variety of new toys on the market today. However, many of the favorites among children have remained the same over the years. The popular Tickle me Elmo of years ago has been upgraded and evolved into the new Tickle Me Extreme (TMX) version. In addition to this many new Sesame Street characters have been added to the TMX lineup.

The Tickle me Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Ernie characters are all made by Fisher Price, so you know they're of the utmost quality. Each character has its own unique actions that it performs when tickled. The classic Elmo moves his arm up and down as he laughs and he bends over and lays back in laughter. The Cookie Monster laughs while shaking with hilarious gyrations, followed by the classic bending and falling over laughing. Another one of the new character is Ernie. Ernie falls to the floor laughing and spins around while calling out for his Rubber Ducky.

Each doll includes 6 AA batteries, which are required for its operation. They are each soft and huggable and stand nearly a foot tall, 11 inches to be exact. These are great toys that most any child will love. But, keep in mind that since the Tickle Me Extreme lineup of characters features small parts that it is not suitable for children under the age of 3. This particular type of toy is known to consistently sell out. This is because Sesame Street is and has been a beloved children's show for decades. If you're thinking about picking one of these up it is a good idea to do it as soon as possible. This is especially the case when it gets closer to the holidays when all of the kids are going to want these under their Christmas Trees.

The Tickle Me Extreme characters are great fun for the children in their target age group. But, these are also fun for adults too. This is because you can't help but smile when you see Cookie Monster, Elmo, or Ernie cracking up and performing their hilarious tickle actions. Your children will simply adore this toy as will any adult that grew up watching Sesame Street, and since these are occasionally discontinued and sometimes hard to come by it is an ideal item for toy collector's as well.

Creating a Cookielicious Halloween Costume with Cookie Monster?

Sesame Street is one of the most popular children's shows of all time. Millions of kids learn to read, write, and count on Sesame Street with their friends Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, the Count, and everyone's favorite: the Cookie Monster. The Elements of a Perfect Cookie Monster CostumeThe Cookie Monster is a blue monster with soft textured blue fur, googly eyes, a warm heart, and a lifelong love of milk and cookies. Finding the right Cookie Monster costume can be challenging, but by following this guide, you'll be munching cookies in no time!A high quality cookie monster costume begins with a high quality fabric. When buying a Cookie monster costume, look for the costume to be made of a blue fabric with faux fur. A suit made of blue fabric on its own will lead to a poor final result. One important fact to remember is that the cookie monster is never completely seen in Sesame Street. Only the top half of all non-human characters are shown on the show, so it's possible to be creative with the bottom half of the costume. Having a Cookie Monster costume that consists of all the same material over the entire body is always a safe bet, and will lead to a great looking final result. The Cookie Monster MaskMany Cookie Monster costumes consist of a one piece outfit with the suit and the mask built-in. Cookie Monster costumes with a separate body suit and mask can lead the neck exposed, leading to a strange-looking costume with a poor appearance.A high quality Cookie Monster mask consists of a vision area located in the mouth, with googly eyes located above the head. This style of costume allows for high levels of visibility, movement, and a great looking appearance.Cookie Monster AccessoriesThe Cookie Monster can't be who he is without milk and cookies! If travelling in your Cookie Monster costume outside, cookie crumbs on the shoulders and chest area can be a great accessory. If indoors, crumbs may irritate party hosts and create excessive mess. A toy cookie (as can be found in pet stores) is a great accessory for any Cookie Monster costume.
