An automobile mechanic is someone with the skills and training to maintain and repair an automobile. We will always need some form of transportation that is mechanical, and a good mechanic would be able to transfer their skills if we no longer need cars.

Automobile mechanics is a good option. I suggest you go for NATEF certified training institutes and pursue a degree course other than a diploma course. Athens Technical college and Cherokee High School are good institutions according to my knowledge.
A mechanic needs to know many things about cars and cycles such as automobile engines, how they run, other car parts, how to repair an automobile or motorcycle, and how to perform an oil change.

Unless you are prepared to learn about everything to do with cars, then automobile mechanic school is not for you. Everything will be discussed from how to change the oil in a car to how to change a tire. Men and women can enroll in the school. Most schools want you to bring as many of your own tools as you can.
