To restore it you have to delete your system32 files.
You have to use windows restore cd, to repair such files.
If your restore requires a windows disk then you cannot restore without one. Most do not require a windows CD. Most include the windows files in the manufacturer restore.

The files which store the copy of your original data are called backup files. In windows backup files are created by NTbackup utility and windows backup and restore utilities. These backup files have .bkf file extension.
