Wire size 0000 AWG is the largest electrical wire. It is 0.46 inches in diameter or 11.86 mm in diameter. The cross sectional area is 107.16 mm(squared).
yes
Overheating of electrical wiring is overcome by installing the correct size conductors to carry the load amperage of the equipment. Use a larger size wire to the load. The main purpose of the breaker is to protect the wire that is connected to it. If the wire becomes overloaded due to a high current flow the breaker will trip.
You need an extra piece of wire of the same size with the right length to make up the shortfall. This has to be joined reliably with a good electrical connection on the end of the existing wire. It can then be connected to the switch.
The price per meter of electrical wire depends on many things like the size, type and many others. The prices vary from $0.1 per meter to $200 per meter.

Wire size is the gauge (thickness of wire) hazard is almost anything not wired correctly.
24 meters
Use AWG #6 wire.

As with any electrical installation, the wire size used depends on the expected maximum current the wire will carry. That cannot be determined by voltage alone.
The minimum size wire that can be paralleled together stated in the electrical code book is a #3 copper conductor.
yes
The largest conductor listed in the National Electrical Code is a 2000 kcmil.
12 AWG.
Use #10 copper.
Wire size becomes an electrical hazard when it is under rated for the amount of current (Amps or I) it has to carry.Current is the flow of electrons in a circuit. If the current is too large for the cable, the cable will be subject to heating, which is a possible fire hazard.
