Drug abuse happens when someone is taking a drug for fun, for a non-medical reason. Drug abuse can lead to physical harm and criminal prosecution.

What is the correct term that describes the use of inhalants as a drug in which the person's body slows down and causes the person to lose control of their behavior and emotions?

The correct term for the use of inhalants as a drug that slows down the body and causes loss of control over behavior and emotions is "inhalant abuse" or "volatile substance abuse." Inhalants are chemicals found in common household products that, when inhaled, can produce mind-altering effects. Persistent inhalant abuse can lead to serious health consequences and addiction.

Does nalbuphine show up in a drug test?

I have never tested positive for Nubain in the 6 years that I took it. I was told by my doctor that even if I did take it that they would never be able to prove it because it is in and out of the body too quickly. I was forced to do drug tests and I took Nubain and it never came up for the courts in Minnesota! Nubain is the only drug marketed in it's type. It is synthesized from opiate, but has no abuse potential. It is not a Federally Controlled drug under the 1971 act, scheduling abuse possible drugs. It is by state law in Kentucky as a schedule IV. Just a little back ground for those taking it.
