February is here. My tip is for all people involved is to learn about Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection - SCAD. Known as a "Rare" heart condition. I don't believe this to be true. I had a MI 19 years ago, caused by SCAD. Research is under way at the Mayo Clinic, for more information please go to Mayo Clinic Research/SCAD. Dr. Sharonne Hayes has found some significant finding associated with SCAD, which usually affects young, healthy women, who normally would be told their symptoms are due to stress. I myself thought I was having an anxiety attack. EKG & enzyme test showed different. I was one of the lucky survivors 19 years ago. Today more and more women and men are being diagnosed with SCAD. Awareness and Funding for continued research is essential. Please mention SCAD to your cardiologist to raise awareness. I believe this information will save many lives. Thank You.
