If you download the owner's manual from JVC's website for the lt42p300, it lists the lt42pm30 on the cover page along with the lt32p300 (32"). The specs page at the end shows identical specs for both 42" tvs. The difference might be that the lt42pm30 is sold at warehouse stores and the lt42p300 at conventional retailers.
