The newest technology, which has been very popular with consumers and movie watchers, have been 3D televisions. When choosing a new 3D TV for your home there are various aspects that you should consider.

One thing to consider when purchasing a 3D TV is the type of glasses that you will need to wear. Some 3D TV's require watchers to wear heavy and bulky glasses to get the 3D image. These glasses are not only inconvenient to wear, but are quite expensive. A better option would be to choose a TV that can be watched while wearing passive 3D glasses. These glasses are quite cheap and are similar to the ones given for free and movie theaters.

Can you recommend an affordable and comfortable 3D TV?

All 3D TVs are priced in the same range but for less expensive models, take a look at Vizio who make some low cost passive 3D televisions. Like the more expensive LG passive televisions, they use only 540 line resolution in 3D mode but if you can live with that restriction, they are good value for money. For full HD 3D, you will need to look at sony, Samsung and Panasonic models.

What 3d glasses do i need for my Toshiba tl96 3d tv?

For your Toshiba TL96 3D TV, you'll need active shutter 3D glasses that are compatible with the TV's specific technology. Toshiba typically uses its proprietary active 3D technology, so look for Toshiba-branded 3D glasses or those specifically designed for use with Toshiba 3D TVs. Make sure the glasses are charged and synced properly to your TV for optimal performance.

Can you watch 3D blu ray movies on a regular lcd tv?

That depends on the kind of 3D TV you have. If your 3D TV has a 2D to 3D conversion feature than yes, you can watch any 2D program in 3D. LG makes good 3D TVs that are affordable and have 2d to 3d conversion feature (other cheaper makers don't have that feature included). I have a LW6500 model (Cinema 3D line) from LG and 3D-converted images look great.
