However, to work as an occupational psychologist you will be required to be licensed or certified in your state and each state and the District of Columbia has its own licensing requirements.

The annual salary range for an occupational psychologist is from the high $40,000 to the low $80,000. Those who work with human resources and management consulting companies usually earn higher salaries than those working in government or education and if you have a doctoral degree you will earn more than the master’s level graduate.
