The thermostat for a 2004 Sebring Convertable is in under the water outlet for the BOTTOM radiator hose. This is behind the alternator which will have to be removed, after you remove the belts. Plan on an afternoon of work. Hope this helps.
on a 2.7L you must remove the alternator a 2.4L follow the upper radiator hose to the engine that is where the t-stat is
To replace a thermostat on a 2005 Chrysler Sebring first drain the coolant from the vehicles radiator, the engine must be shut off during this repair. Then follow the main radiator line to the thermostat housing. Remove the housing and replace the thermostat inside. Refill the coolant.
if you take the cap off of the radiator it is in there actually no its not. follow the top radiator hose to the engine. that is where your thermostat is. you will have to drain the radiator, remove the engine side of the hose and remove the thermostat housing to access it.
There should be a drain on the bottom of the radiator somewhere. If you cannot find one, then remove the lower radiator hose and drain the coolant form that location.
Drain the water from your Corvette radiator. Remove the radiator hoses. Remove the radiator stabilizing arm bolt. Remove the radiator retaining bolts. The radiator will come off.
Remove the water from the radiator. Remove the radiator hoses. Remove the stabilizing arm from the top of the radiator. Remove the radiator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new radiator.
