Satanism is the opposite of Christianity. The Church of Satan was founded by Anton LaVey (1930-1997). The church was founded on April 30, 1966. While there were others before, this was the first "above-ground" organization with their beliefs.
No, I didn't know that. That is quite the opposite from my understanding of Christianity.
No, quite the opposite as many different interpretations have begun many different churches in Christianity - as well as Judaism.
There is no real opposite. Some religions or People have diffenent ideas in some Points of faith or reject some Points or the whole Christian Religion. But this is not a Religion it means heretic. There are two forms of Satanism, the first smaller Group are really Follower of Satan, the bigger Group are People who criticize the structure of the catholoc Religion and it´s institutions.
The opposite of Paganism is true Christianity. Since Paganism is the worship or appreciation of nature, Christianity worships the Creator not the creation. Paganism has it's roots in the Mother Child cult, Baal, Molech, and the other deities of the ancient world. Paganism has multiple deities as opposed to the One God of the Judeo/Christian belief. See also Mithraism, cult of Artemis Cybele, Dionysus's, Iraneus, etc.
Bible means "book" and there really is no opposite word for book.
A:The main support for the belief that Zoroastrianism did not influence Christianity comes from the belief that the Bible is literally true and divinely inspired, reflecting the teachings of Jesus. Once you look at the parallels, chronology and context, you are likely to come to the opposite conclusion.
Two things that are diametrically opposed have opposite beliefs or natures that are incompatible. Christianity and Satanism are diametrically opposed because one exalts God, and the other exalts the individual.
