Why Mothers Should Not Feel Quilty When They Put Their Kids In Day Care?

Many couples cannot make it financially unless both of the parents work. It does puts a lot of stress on the mothers. They always wanted to have kids and now that they do, they have to put them in day care centers. It isn’t something they would do if they didn’t have to. They love their kids and are afraid people will look down on them. Are you one of those moms? Do you live with quilt? You shouldn’t feel that way.
Putting your child in day care is not a crime nor is it something awful that moms do without good reason. It is a necessity. If you have no one to watch your kids while you work, you have no choice. You need the money you earn at your job. You can’t ask friends to watch your kids; you need to pay people to do it.
There should be no guilt involved. You are working hard to provide for your children. You need to keep food on the table and to help pay the bills. You cannot make it on your husband’s salary alone. You have to work, you have to earn money and you have to make sure the kids are well taken care of. Day care is the only option for you.
You are doing the right thing, even though you may not think so it right now. The first day you drop your kids off at center where strangers take care of them, your heart will break. You will put yourself through turmoil regarding if what you are doing is good or bad. What will the neighbors think? What will your friends think? It doesn’t matter what they think or feel. They are your kids and you are doing the right thing.
If your neighbor tells you that you are making a mistake, walk away from the conversation. Don’t stoop to her level. Hold your head high and know that everything will be fine. If you and your husband are comfortable with idea of day care, if your kids are healthy and happy, that is all that matters. Don’t worry about what other people think
